Booking Policy & Cancellation
Non-refundable initial payment must be along with a signed agreement to secure the booking. For weddings, elopements & rehearsals, a one time complimentary change of schedule or a cancellation can be made no later than 2 weeks before the event date. All payments in the Client's account must be up to date in order to request for a change of schedule. There will be a rescheduling fee of $95 for each further change of schedule request. Any change of schedule or cancellation request must be submitted by email. A reschedule request of a reserved booking within the same day can be arranged up to availability. A reserved booking can be rescheduled within 6 months from the date of notification without additional fee. If a reserved booking is needed to be rescheduled later than 6 months, and shall there be a price adjustment between the original paid package and the then-current package, the difference of the amount will need to be charged to validate the rescheduled booking. If the event is postponed without a definite date at time of notification, this would be considered as a cancellation and all payments made cannot be refunded. The Officiant will try to be arranged as the first priority, however, if he/she is not available on the rescheduled date, another officiant in Vancity Officiant Team will be assigned. In the case of no officiant in the Team can be arranged, all paid fee will not be refunded. If an existing booking is cancelled, all payments made cannot be refunded. The Client will be liable for any service used, such as but not limited to time for admin, meetings, ceremony & vows design, location search, planning & coordination, etc. at $95 per 30 minutes, amount not exceeding the total of the finalized package. If any change of schedule and/or change of event venue occurs without notifying the Officiant in a timely manner, that the Officiant cannot arrive or stay as scheduled and no other Officiant can be arranged, the Officiant and Vancity Officiant will hold no liability and all payments cannot be refunded.
