Kevin, in the eyes of Kit... 

 

Kevin’s sense of responsibility and presence is incredibly powerful in a wedding ceremony. He approaches every ceremony as a meaningful life milestone, one that deserves to be grounded, dignified, and full of soul. With nearly 2,000 ceremonies under his belt, his presence not only reassures the couple, but also deeply moves parents, elders, and every guest present. 

 

As a former wedding photographer, I’ve witnessed Kevin’s energy through the lens: every movement, every gesture is composed and deliberate, keeping the focus on the couple while quietly becoming the most elegant and grounded backdrop on their big day. 

 

At pet-inclusive weddings, you’ll often see a softer side of him, the joy and affection he feels for animals shines through, even when he tries to hide it. That tenderness is his superpower. 

Beyond his work with people, Kevin has a big heart for animals, especially rescue dogs. Through every vow and every blessing, Kevin brings warmth, sincerity, and a deep love for all living beings.

William, in the eyes of Kevin & Kit… 

 

For more than a decade, William has been a familiar presence in Vancouver’s wedding community. Many first came to know him through his voice on Fairchild Radio (FM 96.1), where he co-hosted for eight years. Others recognize him as an award-winning singer, or as a trilingual MC who can move with ease between English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

 

What makes William special to us as a Ceremony Host is his conviction that the spotlight should never rest on the host, but always on the couple. He brings clarity without distraction, presence without overshadowing, and creates a natural flow where the bride and groom remain at the centre of their celebration. While our work as licensed officiants is to safeguard the legal vows that make a marriage official, William complements this as our first Ceremony Host, focusing on the celebration, infusing rhythm, warmth, and inclusivity into the ritual side of the day.

 

Together, we carry both the legal and the symbolic, weaving them into ceremonies that feel seamless, heartfelt, and true to each couple’s story.

Kit was once an award-winning wedding photojournalist, but she gave up her place behind the camera to become a celebrant and officiant. That shift elevated everything. 

 

Kit carries a rare emotional frequency: her empathy is razor-sharp, her energy intuitive, her standards unshakeably high. Every ceremony she leads is embedded with small, heartfelt surprises that reflect how deeply she cares. She doesn’t just write scripts, she channels emotions. 

 

Couples often tell me they feel safe with her, free to be vulnerable and real. She helps them break from tradition, while still feeling guided and supported. Her presence is quiet but powerful. Her blessings feel alive.

 

In 2025, on her birthday, Kit fulfilled her wish of creating Pawfect Witness™, bringing her love for animals into the heart of her work. To me, it shows who she truly is. She is an officiant who never measures by money, but by humanity, by feelings, and by the love she carries for every living soul. Because to her, “all beings are equal.”
