About Signature Celebration
Some ceremonies need more than a questionnaire.
Signature Celebration is for couples whose ceremony calls for a more collaborative development process. Through conversation, we take the time to understand your relationship, your families, and the cultural or personal context behind the elements you want to include.
If you would like us to tell your love story, we want to understand more than a list of dates and milestones. We explore the journey from how you met to the experiences that shaped your relationship and brought you to marriage, then develop that story for the ceremony.
Signature Celebration is also where we work with multicultural ceremonies, family traditions, and rituals. Rather than simply adding an element to the ceremony order, we look at what it means, who is involved, how different traditions can sit alongside one another, and how everything connects as one ceremony.
The process gives us room to explore ideas together, develop the ceremony with you, and work through more complex structures when needed.
If you prefer your officiant to take the lead rather than work through an extended ceremony development process together, Classic Celebration gives you an established structure while keeping the focus on the meaning of the ceremony.

Why Book at Least Six Months Ahead?
Signature Celebration must be booked at least six months in advance. The time leading up to your wedding allows us to get to know you beyond a questionnaire and build the understanding needed to develop and deliver your ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we include rituals or symbolic ceremony elements?
Yes. Signature Celebration includes one pre-designed unity ritual, such as a Unity Plant Ritual, Tying the Knot Ritual, Ring Warming Moment™, or Water Blending Ritual. Additional multi-cultural, family, or personalized ceremonial rituals may also be incorporated upon request.
How far in advance should we book Signature Celebration?
Signature Celebration must be booked at least six months in advance, as the process involves a greater level of ceremony writing, collaboration, and preparation. We also accept only a limited number of Signature Celebrations each year, so we recommend reaching out as early as possible once you feel this is the right approach for your ceremony.
Do we need to write our own vows?
Yes. We encourage couples to write their own vows, as it can become one of the most meaningful and personal moments within the ceremony itself. For couples who are unsure where to begin, guided vow support is included to help make the process feel more approachable and natural.
How involved should we expect to be in the planning process?
Signature Celebration is intentionally designed to be more collaborative and relationship-centered. Couples should expect a greater level of involvement in sharing their story, values, ceremony preferences, and meaningful experiences throughout the preparation process. This collaborative approach helps create a ceremony experience that feels more layered, emotionally connected, and deeply reflective of the relationship itself.
Do we receive the ceremony script beforehand?
Rather than treating the ceremony as a fully editable performance script, we hope couples can experience the ceremony more like a meaningful gift prepared for them. Our intention is for the ceremony to unfold naturally in the moment itself, allowing couples to fully experience the emotions, acknowledgment, and joy of hearing it together for the first time on the wedding day.
How are rehearsals scheduled?
Rehearsals are typically scheduled after the ceremony details and flow have been finalized, allowing the walkthrough to reflect the ceremony experience more accurately. Rehearsals are generally scheduled on weekdays and remain subject to availability. They may take place at your venue, The Ensora, or another agreed-upon location.

GST not included. Ceremony pricing includes travel within Vancouver (excluding Downtown Vancouver and UBC), Burnaby, Richmond, and within 15km of V3X. Additional travel and parking fees may apply outside these areas. Christmas and New Year holiday bookings are subject to an additional fee. Marriage licence fee is not included and must be applied for in person.
