Two Ceremony Experiences
Vancity Officiant offers two wedding ceremony experiences: the Classic Celebration for couples who prefer a professionally guided and low-pressure ceremony experience, and the Signature Celebration for couples who want deeper personalization, rituals, storytelling, and collaborative preparation.
Our approach is centered on relationship acknowledgment, emotional presence, and ceremonial guidance, rather than treating the ceremony as a script to be endlessly proofread and edited before the wedding day.

Vancity Officiant also offers Pawfect Witness™, our pet-inclusive ceremony approach designed for couples who see animals as part of the relationship being acknowledged.
From quiet symbolic presence to meaningful acknowledgment moments and ritual participation, Pawfect Witness™ allows couples to include their beloved companions in a way that feels grounded, emotionally genuine, and naturally woven into the ceremony experience.
Our Philosophy
At Vancity Officiant, we believe a ceremony is not simply a presentation script being read aloud. It is a live moment of acknowledgment, emotional weight, support, and blessing.
While couples are always welcome to share personal stories, vows, and meaningful relationships they would like included, we do not approach the ceremony as a document to be endlessly revised line by line before the wedding day. Instead, we believe the role of an officiant is to guide and hold the experience with steadiness, warmth, and presence, so couples can fully experience the moment itself rather than feel responsible for managing every emotional part of it.
To us, a ceremony should feel grounded, human, and genuinely lived in the moment, not performed from a perfectly edited script.
GST not included. Travel fees may apply outside Metro Vancouver.
Looking for a Different Ceremony Experience?
Smaller and more intimate wedding ceremonies for couples who prefer a quieter celebration experience with less structure, fewer guests, and more space to simply be present together.
Simple legal marriage ceremonies at our private officiant-led ceremony space for couples celebrating with as few as 4 guests or intimate gatherings of up to 15 guests.
