When couples start planning a wedding, one of the first questions is always: how much does it cost? Vancouver City Hall weddings are known for being more affordable than traditional venues, but it is important to understand exactly what is included in the price.
CITY HALL WEDDING FEES IN 2025
City Hall offers three main packages, usually based on guest count. Fees begin at around $300 plus GST and can increase depending on the number of guests, up to a maximum capacity set by the City. Prices are reviewed annually, so check the most current information on the official weddings page.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Use of the Council Chamber for 30 minutes
Seating according to the chosen package
Basic ceremony setup
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Marriage licence (purchased separately)
Photography or videography
Personalized decorations or music
Extended time beyond the 30 minute slot
The Officiant
AVAILABILITY AND SCHEDULING
Ceremonies can only be booked during designated time slots. Popular dates fill up quickly, so availability is limited. Updated schedules are available on the City of Vancouver weddings page.
OUR ROLE AT CITY HALL
We are licensed to officiate weddings at Vancouver City Hall. If you choose to marry there, we can legally perform your ceremony inside the Council Chamber. This gives you the best of both worlds: the tradition of City Hall and the reassurance of an officiant who truly supports you.

THE ALL INCLUSIVE ALTERNATIVE
If you prefer a wedding experience that includes everything in one package, our Signing Ceremony is designed to cover it all: officiant, full legal process, photography support, and Signing Room rental. There are no hidden add ons or unexpected costs.
